Periasamy Ramamoorthy
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND FOUNDER
Peri has over 27+ years of experience in business and IT consultancy, with deep expertise across several large and mid-tier ERP platforms—ranging from hands-on implementation and team development to strategic direction and P&L ownership.
Before Cloud Ascend, Peri incubated two start-ups in ERP migration and predictive analytics, besides helping a mid-sized IT services organization revamp its ERP practice. He began his ERP career with Satyam Computer Services, where he was one of the key leaders instrumental in establishing and expanding their Oracle ERP practice.
He was recognized as a ‘game-changer’ by the Mahindra Group for steering the organization through a period of extreme organizational crisis, ensuring delivery continuity and excellence, prior to its acquisition by Tech Mahindra. He went on to play several leadership roles at Tech Mahindra, reviving and re-establishing the business across delivery, sales consulting and strategic deals pursuit.
Peri is a Chartered Accountant by qualification. He started his career at A.F. Ferguson & Co., with brief stints in private practice and with Lovelock & Lewes in their computer assurance division, before moving into the IT industry. He is an avid learner, always curious to experiment, and disciplined in turning ideas into action.
